Your health is the most important thing you have! To ensure that you are exposed to as few dangers as possible in your day-to-day work, Klauke puts the issue of "safety" first when developing new products. The battery-powered hydraulic cutting tools ESG105RMCCFM (for cables with max. 105 mm Ø) and ESG65RMCCFM (for cables with max. 65 mm Ø) were developed to protect you.

The ESG105RMCCFM and ESG65RMCCFM were developed in collaboration with experts from the utilities sector to find a method to cut electrical cables safely. In contrast to overground power distribution systems, it is not always possible to trace underground systems, making it difficult to guarantee a voltage-free condition. In this case, it is better to have enough distance to the cutting location, because flying sparks when cutting a cable that is still under tension can be extremely dangerous.

And this is how the safest cutting by "distance" works:

• Open the cutting head, attach it to the cable to be cut and close the cutting head again
• Position the tool safely
• Connect the remote control to the tool via Bluetooth and move up to 70 meters away
• The integrated LEDs on the remote control shows the current connection status of the tool and provides information about the cutting process at all times
• Thanks to the patented blade position sensor the tool continuously checks the position of the blades. If they overlap completely, the cut is confirmed visually and acoustically
