Klauke provides safer operation thanks to integrated insulation barrier

Working on or near live parts in low-voltage areas up to 1000V is often part of every day work in certain sectors. Until now, only insulated manual tools for cutting and crimping have been available for proper and safe working for such tasks.

With its Orange battery powered hydraulic cutting and crimping tools, Klauke is now launching a tool series with an insulation barrier between tool head and base on the market. This prevents voltage up to 1000 V from being applied to the tool body as a further layer of protection against electric shock. Integrated non-slip handles provide additional safety. Our new Orange tools are fully type-tested and certified by VDE. Users will not only appreciate the bright orange-coloured tools when working with accidentally live parts; they will also be able to significantly improve occupational safety wherever work has previously been carried out on potentially live parts with the risk of accidents.
